Board Game Club
This after-school club focuses on teaching children good sportsmanship and strategic thinking, as well as improving verbal communication. Through a variety of competitive and cooperative board and card games, hopes are to help each child develop important life skills all while having a lot of fun. This club is designed for any play level from beginner through experienced players.
Games are taught in a two week series. The first week is spent teaching, going over strategy and playing a new game(s). The second week is a review of the game(s) and the students will have a more in depth experience building upon the strategies learned and exploring new problem solving methods and skills.
